Partnerships

staff_2.jpgThe uninsured in El Paso County is a community issue and we are taking a community approach in working toward a solution.

OBBMC is a member of Community Health Partnership (CHP) and Community Access to Coordinated Healthcare. We are currently working in unison with the El Paso County Health Department, El Paso County Medical Society, Memorial and Penrose hospitals, the Colorado Springs Fire Department. These organizations have helped to provide volunteer recruitment and referrals, basic labs and x-rays, as well as equipment and medical supplies.

We also work closely with the other free clinics in town S.E.T., Mission Medical, Practice Net Solutions, and Peak Vista Community Health Center. To insure patient coverage and access as well as to avoid duplication of services.

staff_1.jpgWe have also received generous support from Peoples Bank with computers and I.T. support. Funding for pharmaceuticals from Colorado Coffee Merchants. Everything they collect in their tip jar the employees and owner donates at the end of every month.

The Pikes Peak Baptist Association and the Colorado Baptist State Convention have also contributed with funding.

We have recently been fortunate enough to receive a grant form the Myron Stratton Home, that will provide funding for medication.

And of course we have received many small donations from private donors.
